A new Banjo-Kazooie level dropped early this morning! Riverside Ruins, the first of many community-made maps to come. Since 2023, nearly twenty members passed this first level around. Based on the community post by Retronuva10, getting this together was quite the challenge — and I’m not surprised! A whole team of modders cut their teeth learning how to work with the decompilation software AND each other. Retronuva10 put it best by saying, “… [the] challenge is indicative of it's worth, and I hope that is self-evident when you try it out.”
Hagg, a member of the server, posted this screenshot a little after release. An hour to 100% a level is pretty good, in my eyes! That tells me there’s quite a bit worth doing and seeing. The team went on to ask Hagg if they had completed [spoilers redacted] which is how I learned the hard way there might be more to do than visit the one level — love to see it. 😉😉😉
